Tim,
Thank you again for your generous support of the schools! It is such a blessing to work in a community that has such musical depth and support! Once we arrange the mechanical license I will make sure to send you a cd of the concert, it was such a neat experience and a wonderful opportunity for the kids! The use of the Grand for the Concert made the difference.
Thank you!
Matt Kolls, Crystal Lake South High School
Terry Guynes "I will!! All of the directors really appreciate you donating that piano for the state jazz festival! They love the fact that they get to play on a "REAL" piano for a change!! I'm sure we'll get lots of pictures!!"
Barbara Marik, Schaumburg Library I am writing to let you know how delighted the Schaumburg Township District library was with the delivery of the Concert Piano. We were truly honored to be allowed the use of this beautiful musical instrument for the Dean Malsack Program. Dean is extremely popular but then to have the privilege of using one of your finest pianos made this event extra special. Your company went above and beyond to make our musical program perfect. So many compliments were articulated. The library is very thankful to Piano Trends for supporting us in such a "grand" fashion.
.
Michael Feinstein Both pianos were perfectly prepped, (for concert) especially well voiced together on such short notice. Jimmy (Webb) and I thank you.
Jeff Jacobs (of Foreigner & Billy Joel) You made it happen for the kids. Great piano and service. never had to worry about a thing. Love working with you man.
Melissa S. Thank you for including so much in our purchase from the piano to lessons. Plus Terry was so friendly and helpful explaining the piano at the tuning. We look forward to coming to lessons each week.

“I connected with Tim through a fellow pianist, Gary Girourd. I went out to Chicago for a benefit where Tim was supplying pianos. Tim went out of his way to arrange another concert for me, making my trip much more enjoyable and profitable. Out at the NAMM show, in LA, Tim worked to arrange some playing for me for the Samick Corp. He has also connected me with the Raue Center for the Arts for a concert in October. We are now discussing a possible in store concert and a clinic on improvisation at Piano Trends. I look forward to promoting Tim's company, Piano Trends when I get out to Chicago in October. Working with Tim is a joy. He's one of the nicest guys I have ever worked with and his connections to people in the music biz are extraordinary. I highly recommend Tim and Piano Trends Music Co.” April 6, 2009

“I enjoyed working with Tim at both a charity event at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago as well as a concert at the Raue Center for the Performing Arts. I often heard Dean Malsack say nice things about him, and when I met Tim, I realized how true they were. He is such a happy person, and I think of lot of both him and his family. We should all be so lucky to work with someone like Tim. Did I mention his sense of humor?” June 29, 2010

Hi Tim,
Thank you so much for all you have done for Morgan. She was thrilled when she got home last night and set everything up--bedtime was a late one!!! :-).She is definetly going to need some help with the H2 recorder. We read a good chunk of the book and got it set up but still have many questions, most of them pertaining to how it works with the computer since there was no software. I was also curious how much an adjustable bench would be. Thanks again--we are so lucky to have such a great business like yours in Crystal Lake. Take care, Vicki
James J. Whitney Thank you - you guys are awesome!

Testimonial For Piano Trends,
After an unpleasant experience with another Chicago Suburban Baldwin Piano Dealer, I contacted Tim Paul of Piano Trends, to tell him of my situation.
Tim listened and said that he would work with me to help with the selection of a new piano. Tim was very professional and ethical in his dealings with me, working on providing specific delivery dates, payments, warranty work, free tunings, etc.
I have recommended Tim Paul of Piano Trends to many of my associates. My experience with Piano Trends was very satisfying. Everything from my first phone call and meeting with Tim was business like, professional, rewarding and NO HIGH PRESSURE.
I have my piano and Piano Disc Player just over a year, and when on occasion have a question, Tim responds promptly. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Piano Trends and Tim Paul. James S.
“Without a doubt, the customer service skills I learned from Tim at Piano Trends have helped me and my business be a wonderful success. At Piano Trends, Tim teaches his staff to put the focus on the customer always, by listening to their needs and having a depth of knowledge at the store to fit those needs - whether a customer is looking for a 9-foot grand piano or a beginner trumpet for a new school band member. Additionally, he is always looking for new ways to better serve the aspiring and established musicians who contact him. If you go to Piano Trends, you will not be disappointed!” May 26, 2009

“I would like to highly recommend Tim Paul and Piano Trends as a music store to do business with. Having dealt with Tim and his staff for many years, I have been very satisfied with the service and expertise associated with the purchase of musical instruments. Purchasing a set of drums, a guitar, and keyboard from Piano Trends, I have never been pressured into over purchasing items for the instruments. I, as a customer have been directed to the proper make and manufacturer that would be the best value for my money. They also have a large variety of instructional books and video products to help the beginner utilize the instrument, and provide the proper instruction to get started and progress forward. Piano Trends not only sells the instruments but assists the musician to help them progress forward with their musical endeavors As a former Wurlitzer employee, I know the value of a quality piano. Piano Trends has a large selection of new and used piano’s not only in their showroom but in their offsite warehouse. They even have some rare or hard to find pianos like the Wurlitzer Butterfly Baby Grand which I haven’t seen in over 30 years. Each used piano has been reconditioned to play and appear as if it were new. That’s something not many dealers can claim. Think of Piano Trends when you are considering the purchase of a musical instrument as I am extremely impressed base on my experiences.” June 16, 2009

Dear Tim,
The Piano Music Box came today via UPS around 5:00 PM. It was absolutely beautiful and sounded so .....sweet ! We were so anxious to get it to our niece. She is a very busy girl. It's pretty sad when a 16 year old has a more hectic social calendar then I do.
After volunteering all day with migrant worker's children then dinner with her girlfriends, she was finally dropped off at our house. We gave her the gift and when she opened the box, she was so surprised yet, she wasn't quite sure what it was. We took it out, put it together and when it played, her eyes lit up like moons, she smiled from ear to ear. She didn't need to say " Thank You ". Her expression said it all.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to find this " perfect gift ". Not many people go above and beyond for the consumer these days and I think it's so sad. I appreciate that you did. It made my heart smile. Thank You !
Most Sincerely,
Karen Nicholson
P.S. By reading your business card, I see that you ARE the boss. I still think you should give yourself a raise. |
